Is it just me or are others not overly excited by this signing? 13.5m for a player who isn't proven and only seems to have some to life in the last 6 months or so - form is temporary class is perminant and all that?!

Everyone was mentioning similar things regarding Mori before he signed and to be fair he's been a relative success for £9m, so you never know.

Also giving credit where credit is due, Martinez is reasonably savvy when it comes to signings bar a few questionable purchases here and there.

Not saying he'll be amazing and there's a few concerns bounding around, however a name in up front is better than none I guess.

Not checked this guy out but simple fact we will be well short if when Rom would not be available. Only playing kev Geri and arouna together might produce goals but that leaves us without further attacking options
So I am happy Roberto has addressed this if he signs
