There are many reasons as to why somebody could be or might not be a success at a football club. What with new cultures, new team mates, a whole new style of play and whats expected of you and also family and friends being hundreds/thousands of miles away. Imagine all that at 21 when not only a new country but a new continent etc. Its like any of us going to say West Africa and leaving everybody behind and not knowing anyone. How many of us would hit the ground running.

I'm hoping he is now a bit older/wiser and had the experiences of playing different types of football in different regions of the world and as such has made him more mentally prepared for such a move. Not only that but it does seem Everton as a club, are very good with regards to team spirit etc.

There is no guarantee of success with any player but i think here at 'our' club he has a great chance to succeed.
