I did have a soft spot for Stracqualursi. He was a proper trier, like Niasse in terms of effort, though a very different player. I vaguely remember him being mainly responsible for a win against City, just by his everywhere-on-the-pitch effort. Not at all a good player, though (again like Niasse in terms of limited talent).

I got a bit emotional after seeing him score in that game and advocated signing him permanently until the euphoria wore off a few days later.
