That to me is a huge downgrade, but some how people think they are title challengers?? Their first eleven today is worse than 2 years ago under Redknapp.

Either the Prem has gone completely ****, or people are getting all misty eyed by expensive foreign signings.

Much more rounded team when you add in guys like Soldado, Capoue, and Chadli. The biggest issue with Spurs IMO (especially last year) is that they had a lot of selfish players. Bale changes games by himself so we won't include him, but Defoe sometimes looks like he'd rather be benched than pass to an open man, Adebeyor only plays when he feels like it, and Lennon (for all his pace) tends to run with his head down. I think once the team gels (which admittedly could take awhile) they're much better than in the past especially if/when Erickson/Lamela join the team.

You also have to consider that now if the team lacks creative flair, their answer off the bench isn't going to be Tom Huddlestone

That's one odd mix of strikers Chelsea have now. Torres (in and out of form), Lukaku (impressive on loan at WBA last season), Ba (yet to hit his Newcastle form yet) and now Eto'o. Wonder who Jose will favour more as his lone front man?
