By over-spending on un-tested players.

While I do like some of their players, lets just look at what they have done.

Sold a quality young English centre back, for a Romanian.
Paid £17 Million for a Defensive midfielder....a player that could have been got for £9 million last season.....also Huddleston & Parker & Sandro did the same job.
Soldado - Fair enough, I like this guy.
Chadli - Looks good, but no better than the other AM's they have, and another foreigner.
Capoue - See the Paulinho point.

agree with this, they have also bought too many players...should have spent less on better, i suppose you could argue they couldnt get any better...adn still think they look dodgy at the back, happy to be proved wrong

Everything seems just right for them to explode onto the scene and become title contenders

possibly, or all these players wont gel and they will finish 7th!

Capoue's stats in 20 minutes were phenomenal
All of these players they've bought individually improve their starting 11 in their respective positions (aside for Bale)
considering they were a point off 4th last season and Arsenal have not improved I can not understand how anyone thinks they will not at least come 4th..
The gap won't be between 3rd and them, it will be between them (& united chelsea city) and 5th...

Your bitterness and total lack of footballing knowledge are shining through here..... spurs have made top quality signings in most areas of the pitch.... I would love us to have bought any 3 of their signings thi summer. To argue otherwise is pure jealousy and delusional.

I like Huddleston, and I like what I have seen of Paulinho...a player that was touted around for £9 millon last season....!
