Is he worth £45m? Who knows in today's market. But watch him, he's good like. Good technique, decent finisher, movement is good.

Strand Larsen is just a back up if Mateta were to go. Forest's bid for Mateta was comical, Maranakis trying to unsettle the player and perhaps hoping he gets left out of the side for Forest v Palace on Sunday. Why on earth would Mateta go there? He'd be third choice with everyone fit.
Mateta himself has said nothing, it's just his agent jumping on the " everyone's jumping ship at Palace" bandwagon.
We would never sell him to Forest anyway and no actual bid has been made for Stand Larsen, just fee and personal terms agreed. The fee being large enough to knock other interested parties off should someone come in with a stupidly big bid for Mateta who aren't Forest.

Mateta to Forest seems ludicrous from every angle. Palace surely don’t want to sell to them for many reasons, Forest have Jesus, Awoniyi, the new fella, and Wood to come back so no chance he’d get the minutes he wants there.
The lad from Villa makes sense, though. Looks like an Ayew type wide forward that works well in your system.
