Think he looked good taking the ball under pressure - i think that's why he has been brought in because we are trying to transition to a midfield two to add an extra man in attack.
Yes, looks off match fitness but glimpses of a deep lying midfielder who can receive a pass and lay it off. The basics which we lack.

Absolutely and offers the start of an alternative to the Dyche diagonal long balls from Pickford and Keane especially. We are too predictable and easy to set up to counter.

I think part of our problem is we are missing the extra man in midfield, i love Tim but he is boom and bust and its prob not fair to ask him to lead the transition from three to a two. Villa and Spurs particularly we were overrun. We need someone who can take it under pressure, spread and transition the play then make themselves an option further up.

There will be games for Tim.

I think he is an improvement on Idrissa and might turn out to be a good move.

After watching the first games this season I would select him, Tim, Ndaye and Eriksen to start every game and hope they can get up to speed
quick. The Doucoure, Idrissa, Harrison chapter must end. Also, the Beto Experiment looks like a failiure- sad to say because he is a trier.

I really don't see how he's getting so much stick, there was a few times he was under massive pressure and never really got caught out, he started that chance for Dixon to get into the box with a nice bit of a foot work on the attack as well.

Players are generally "the worst player to ever play football" if they don't skip past several defenders, slide in several through balls or score goals.

There's no nuance in football fans
