We used to have cats when we were growing up. One or two lived up to the stereotype of aloofness but a couple of them were totally clingy and acted like dogs.
Where we lived though was all concrete yard terraced 2up 2downs backing onto a load of overgrown wasteland - they used to go pissing and crapping there and bring back various dead mice, rats and birds for us.
Very thoughtful but one of them somehow getting a half alive pigeon into the house, up the stairs and into my mam and dads bedroom didn't go down too well.
Dedication to a performance?
I think by that stage my parent's marriage had petered out to passive aggression, simmering resentment and alcoholism. That pigeon may well have been the last creature to spray bodily fluids around that room.
