I know the Nebraska scene quite well - grew up in South Dakota where it was quite common to drive 300 miles or more for athletic / scholastic events while growing up.

I'll never understand why people give directions and don't give a rough distance (a fair piece down the road) a general direction (over yonder) and idea of time (it'll be a bit) and some kind of landmark (past Barney's old trailer across from the VFW). That's probably why those of us in the Deep South almost never get lost

Poor cop. You can tell he knew this was crap, and was pretty cool about it, but if he didn't check and something was wrong...OMG. And to make it worse, someone is holding a cell phone at him recording it the whole time.

i can understand why he filmed it...that officer thankfully was relaxed but they're not all like that.

The aircraft is a T-6 Texan from North American Aviation, a trainer plane that is popular in airshows. The FAA registry for the tail number describes the plane as a 1958 SNJ-5, which is a modified T-6 Texan.

The plane appeared to have been painted in camouflage, with black-and-white crosses on its wings in the manner of a World War II German fighter aircraft.
