Once A Boo, Always A Boo

Comes down to this for me.

When Rooney left he was irreplaceable for us. Didn't have the money and he was incredible.

Ross is now going to leave and is replaceable.

Him being a local lad isn't bothering me anymore. Just like it doesn't bother Real Madrid when they win league titles and champions leagues.

Koeman revealed he knew at the end of last season Ross wasn't going to sign a new contract. Wonder what Ross thinks now after our early signings? Has he watched the professionalism of Rooney, the finishing of Sandro (only off training video but he looks good), Keane looks an astute buy( maybe still has lots to learn but training with Jags must help him). Seems to me Ross or his advisors have got this totally wrong.

I don't dislike him but he definitely isn't as good as he thinks he is. He can't see a pass. Watch Mirallas or Barry when they have the ball, they know where everybody is and get rid of the ball quickly. Ross stops, looks around, thinks for a bit and then passes. By which time the moment has gone. Barry's footballing brain inside Ross's body would be world class.

Are you for real??? Ross is already twice the player Kev will ever be, this is just pathetic now.

I've been saying for years that the club should have invested in a mad scientist to work on projects such as this. Kone's brain into Lukaku, and cloning an unlimited supply of Coleman's would have helped us to a trophy by now.

He needs to sign and nut up and let a legend improve him or get going.

With Wayne back the "local boy" pressure is off him. He has potential but he is lazy and needs to graft as per Koeman's demands.

Lots of Rooney in an article about Ross. Could have just used the Rooney thread if ya wanted to have a go at him....:coffee:

Really mate? He got the dogs at times from the Bullens I was sat in and you could hear it every time he lost the ball all around the ground which he'll be aware of, it goes back a couple of seasons too I seem to remember even Carragher saying we should get off his back. You may have a short memory but maybe he hasn't.

He got groans, he got the odd shout. So did Lukaku and on far more often in my experience. But it didn't effect him. Ross seemed to let it massively effect him. And what he got was miniscule compared to what likes of kone, cleverley and osman got.

Myth that he got loads of abuse in the past, quite frankly it didn't happen.

But he deserves huge abuse when he's next back at GP.

Point 1. Yes he's obviously greedy as he's turned down in excess of 100k a week.

Point 2. He's a good player. Could have been great. But won't be due to severe mental fragility.

Point 3. No idea. Money perhaps. But in this case it's cause he's a total bottler who hasn't the determination to fight for his place or the guts to take responsibility as a senior player.

I disagree largely with the article. We wont miss him.
I'm wth you on this one.
