Very disappointing, looked like the achilles might have gone again
Sad so many gb athletes have suffered injuries during the olympics

The only benefit for her I guess is that anything has been a bonus given when the injury happened. It's not like it came from nowhere when she was in a great position and pushing for gold. The disappointment of the injury will have been there for a good while. Small mercy I know but trying to find a positive

I didn’t see this morning but heard Daley Thompson saying he noticed it so clearly an issue .
You could tell in the high jump which was the second event. She had no confidence in really pushing it. She snuck through with an ok score but way below what she would be getting at her best
