I felt sorry for Reekie. Tactically superb race, but she ran out of steam.

Hodgkinson was class. She was going faster than the winner in the last 50 metres.

Oh, and it's a disgrace to hear that Bell the third GB runner had her funding stopped and had to pay up for herself....even more annoying when you consider that those chinless upper class freaks in rowing got pampered with £25m in the last 4 years and stunk the gaff out. Shame on the Olympic Committee.

Big crash in the pursuit. Denmark were about to easily catch the GB team, but just went straight into the back of them. Not sure what the ruling is?

Denmark different level but that crash was cretinous, the pursuit of aero cannot be allowed to extend that far - riding a bicycle at supermax effort not looking where you are going.

TeamGB stagnated on the bike track by the looks of it. Complacency inevitable after such prolonged dominance I guess. Dan Bigham (aero supremo and world level timetriallist himself) is coaching Denmark, said he was unimpressed with the current GB set up and receptivity to new ideas.
