….amazing how those old bus numbers remained in place over the years. Clearly remember getting a 46 home from that terminus with John Bailey after we’d played in a trial for Liverpool Schoolboys U15s.

…as an ex-Civil Servant, I remember the Unemployment Benefit Office was in Aspinall St.

I went there once - & was too young to sign on by one moth in that time i got my job that I wanted & had it moving around the NW around till retirement

Now the Little Estate Agents and the street is pedestrianised. Unfortunately footfall is declining and so are the shops on the street.
