Tommy Jackson of course also had a successful career as a manager with Glentoran in Northern Ireland and Waterford FC in the south of Ireland. He was player manager of the Waterford team that won the FAI Cup in 1980.

It remains to this day their most recent major trophy outside of promotions from the first division. Andy King also had a very brief stint as player manager there in the late 80's as well.

You support Everton and Rangers, you like to quote a lot of Irish football history and you'd have got on really well with @Cork Evertonian who we haven't seen for a while.
