Only saw Ferguson on Tele and he had his moments it seems but not on the same street as the incomparable Pick. Whoever wrote this got it wrong about largely ignored. Not at BR anyway. Was unlucky at the Toffees but scored all kinds of goals. A complete no 9 all his career

Oh how could I not love Fred?
My first game watching Everton saw Fred score three for Blackburn as they beat us 4-1 at GP.
The next time I saw him he scored three on his debut as we beat Forest 6-1. This on my twelfth birthday.
Pickerings peas were the only veg I'd eat.
Alex Young no, Fred was my first hero in blue.
