The most photographed player of his era - well before Mathews - plus his goalscoring record for his country was phenomenal ....no comparison IMO......

I like Buckland's work the most of all the 'Blues' experts, it's very well researched and typically has excellent contemporary reports, as opposed to some like James Corbett, who quotes the likes of his mate's uncle Jimmy too often and the like (although I like his stuff too).
