Born 116 years ago, today, John Ross ‘Jock’ Thomson. One of the Toffees’ most loyal servants. After a couple of seasons in the wilderness he came back in to captain the club to the title in 1938/39. Seen here, sporting a great quiff, with Dixie Dean, Tosh Johnson and others.
