Arsenal 3 Everton 2 in Aug 1936 at Highbury. Dixie Dean flicks the ball over Arsenal keeper Alex Wilson to score on the 1st Division clash. Arsenal came in to sign Dixie & he told them to sod off - he was a Blue -plus they offered him less terms when he was at |Tranmere Rovers but only offered a better package when he proved his success - Loyalty - does not exist now .....

I think you got that the wrong way round. The Tangerines feared no one at that time especially a second division side with ideas above their station lol
