I went to school and hung around with Waggy. Was lucky enough to play alongside him in the school team, until he was stopped playing for the school by Liverpool schoolboys, age 14. Dave was hard as nails, nobody messed with Waggy. From a good family, over the bridge, he lived in a council maisonette, with his Ma and Da, and their Alex. They were all kopites, but speaking to him years after he left them, he said he had no time for LFC, after the poor treatment he received there.
