Everton V City - Labby takes guard - Andy Rankin catches the ball -
It was a shame for the amount on offer - stupid, but the punishment for all four players was too severe, particularly when Tony Kay was given MOTM in the game .... Labby stated Tony Kay would have loved Bally in his side -, but also called him a big head ......What a shame he ruined it for all of us: Whenever the line-up had Kay and Moore before the World Cup
Moore wore No. 4 & Kay wore the no. 6. Kay was a greedy thief and cost us a '66 line up without
Nobby Styles, which should have read Half backs 4 Moore 5 Big Jack 6 Kay.
Let's just give thanks, Degsy, that the great one, by all accounts a man not averse to giving his minions a hard time, chose not to open his legs & show his class...Good description - doesn't look very scorchio.
Stuart Barlow Jigsaw as he fell to bits in the box .... lolAugust 1994 - a brutal yet funny pre-season analysis of Mike Walker's Everton from WTS (What's The Score). The description of Stuart Barlow's particular skill-set still makes me laugh aloud

Love it. Knew him better as "Barn door" but I defer to "Jigsaw"!Stuart Barlow Jigsaw as he fell to bits in the box .... lol
Wonderful atmosphere that night, though not without its nastier moments before & after the game. We had to rescue one hapless Bolton lad from a hiding outside The Oak, though we couldn't do much for his sheepskin, which vanished quicker than snow in a desert.
