John Carey was not a poor Manager either....

I'd say Everton 2 Watford 5 was a worse result

The Health & Safety boys would be apoplectic with this if today. Must have been the most intimidating area of the ground for opposition players, particularly anyone taking a corner there. When Goodison truly was a bear pit.
I think they got fined & told to get down ...
