Same here I lived in Thirlmere Close as a lad , saw Labone at the shops , if memory serves me right also Tommy Wright and John Hurst lived there as well ! great times ,great team and the Pride Of Merseyside by far !

Grosvenor Road for me but I had some friends that we would meet up at Lambshere Lane so I would bike up that way. I would wear my kit around most of the time so everyone knew my allegiance. I went to Deyes Lane for a couple of years right around the corner from you.
