Jim Sanden the WHU keeper was a decent Bowler took 300 odd wickets
Our own Brian Harris was a good all rounder too. Was a leading light in the northern footballers cricket match every summer and was always there or there abouts in all the Golf comps.
 
Reading that Millionaires book - I did not realise Brian Harris played the John Hurst role on occasions as a 2nd CH along side Labby not a bad player for a £25 signing on fee was he -

We were a top class goalkeeper away from silverware during this period. Should have gone for Shilton before he went to forest.
Deffo,story was Pejic signed from Stoke and was assured Shilton would follow him in the summer, our board wouldn't pay a few thousand extra and he went to Forest,we signed Woody instead, a decent keeper but as you say Shilton would have won us trophies I'm sure!!

City and Untied used to play a charity match at Old Trafford back in the day, George Best was a decent batsman and wicketkeeper.
