My Old Man was very much the same. Pity about that mess at the previous club which stopped him. He was one of the best half backs in the country and it was Everton who lost out in due course. In today's football he would have been priceless.

Met him in Southport Hossie a while back, got his autograph for my old fella, nice fella Tony.

I'm sorry gentlemen, but I have to dissagree with you concerning Kay, Layne & Swan etc. The FA had to stamp on this stuff & ban for life straight away,
I think the FA were right as it seems to have been nipped in the bud. I can only assume the Bruce Grobbelaar 'Brown Envelope' scam was overlooked
because the RS were involved. The Paolo Rossi affair was FIFAs fault and is about right for a bent organisation.
