My old fella loved tony Kay always says one of the most underrated players ever joey. Was hard as nails and could play as well in his top 3 favourite players with Alex young and Bally

My Old Man was very much the same. Pity about that mess at the previous club which stopped him. He was one of the best half backs in the country and it was Everton who lost out in due course. In today's football he would have been priceless.

Saw him outside Wembley in '66, I heard that he played locally for pub teams etc. I was just wondering how he made a crust over all these years?

I'm sorry gentlemen, but I have to dissagree with you concerning Kay, Layne & Swan etc. The FA had to stamp on this stuff & ban for life straight away,
I think the FA were right as it seems to have been nipped in the bud. I can only assume the Bruce Grobbelaar 'Brown Envelope' scam was overlooked
because the RS were involved. The Paolo Rossi affair was FIFAs fault and is about right for a bent organisation.
