I just missed him, I was watching the odd game as a young kid with my late father, and older brother they raved about him can't wait to take you to see him play ....... he was banned the following week......
In those days I was taken to certain games where it was safe to sit on the barrier as the crowd pushed , and swayed a lot 1963 the days of winning the league - doh!

Nobby Styles would have never played in the 1966 World Cup final .......if not for his life ban.....

I can remember Bobby Moore having to play for England at No.4 (Right Half) to accomodate Tony Kay @ No.6. It just may be that Moore would
have missed a place in the '66 final and not Nobby .If Ramsey preferred Hunt to Greaves......who knows?
