Okay that's the breaking point

Boring game, but at least im not in a state of being constantly indifferant to save myself from the constant stream of backwards goals.

I'm baffled.
Is this genuinely a wind up. Whether the OP was taking the mick or not, i'm not even sure, but everyone else who's in agreement, how can you be?

I've never wanted Allardyce, I made that clear from the start. I felt we'd get out of the mess, as there really are three worse (if not a lot more) teams than us in this league. However, Football isn't just a game now, it's a business, and Moshiri has used his business mind and seen Allardyce's record when making this appointment.

Not for one second do I think Moshiri's wanted to make this appointment, as shown by trying to get him in, on a deal til the end of the year, and then eventually JUST 18 months.

But lets stop a second, and lets look back at some of our performances this season prior to Big Sam. Now, did anyone think in 4 weeks, he'd have sewn up the leaky defence to make it rock solid, making players like Keane and Williams look actually half decent.

We're unbeaten, looking like we could maintain a push for Europe (again!) and the panic is over.

We're playing dour football, and that's not what we want to see. But, there is a vast improvement and things take time. Lets just appreciate the fine defensive job he's done so far, and hopefully be excited for a fresh, exciting manager in the future.

I thoroughly don't expect Big Sam to be here next season, I also don't think he wants to be either. A "Mutual Agreement", will probably come in and he will depart, but Sam, known for his love of money, now has the security of sealing a payoff, which i'm perfectly happy with.
I think what most fans myself included are worried about is, he maybe here next season.

That is of course the board are not reminded that what we witnessed yesterday is simply not good enough, we will not push for Europe with fat Sam I can assure you as he does not know how to set a team up to attack.

He was an ale house defender and is passing his limited knowledge onto Keane, Williams and Holgate to make them look half decent, where all they are doing is hoof it upfield for Calvert Lewis to lose the ball on his 2nd touch. Hence one shot yesterday

We were without Rooney and Gueye. That's an excuse I'm prepared to go along with. Other teams would be content with a draw at WBA in those circumstances. We also lack a striker and that's no fault of Allardyce.

Boring.. are people mad? Have they forgotten the Soton game, or the Arsenal game already?

Last night we had a plan and it worked. We have a bloke in charge who gets it done. Otherwise EFC would still be fourth from bottom.

Completely agree with this, without Sam we'd definitely be in Swanseas position. Our starting 11 other than arguably Pickford/Gana/Rooney is very similar in quality to Swansea. We could realistically finish top 8 which would be an incredible season, who would have guessed that after Southampton, Atalanta etc?

I'll never know why a famous club with a reputation for playing decent football could ever go for a man like allardyce.

It's an embarrassment he's the everton manager to be honest. Watching that today was a disgrace.

I agree with some here saying jib him. We aren't going down. Unsworth had got the win that saw us on this unbeaten run. I heard that fat embarrassment trying to claim credit for that win recently! And the win in Europe. He wasn't in charge for either of them! He's a fraud and with his shocking style of play is fine for a no mark club like Sunderland or palace. But at Goodison Park? No chance. I'll never have that no matter how poorly we were playing earlier in the year.
Not won anything for 22 years.....we are a prem survival club and will be until the board gets its act together....you want koeman back? Or Unsworth? Or even god forbid el fraudo? Thank feck I saw us live up to our motto and actually win stufflol:cool:

1. We were heading for the drop as clear as day after Southampton.

2. The new stadium plans would have been binned had it happened.

The long game required the short sighted view. Almost 100% convinced we were getting relegated after that match on my birthday.

I'm sorry mate but that's garbage, no offence.

But it proves the problem we had as a football club.

Basically we [Poor language removed] ourselves and panic hired.

Rhino actually, when you look at where we were, had us safe. His last game 4-0 (NEVER let that fat fraud let you believe it was him who masterminded that) saw us climb back to 13th. The Huddersfield game saw us fly higher. Unsworth could have won us that game and basically we've been fine since.

There was absolutely no chance we were going to go down despite people panicking to to contrary. Now we are stuck with this fat, corrupt dinosaur playing the worst brand of football any of us while have seen at everton. 2 games, only one shot on target? It's humiliating. Unsy at least knew how to attack teams.

I fully expect him to be shown the door in the summer and we get in a proper manager but having him in charge sends out the wrong signals. We are supposed to be a club going places, not stuck playing long balls and percentage football.

Can't wait for him to be gone and we get a progressive manager in charge. silva would be good although to be honest anyone would be an improvement on the stop gap we are now lumbered with. Moshiri will probably deliver us Alan Pardew or tony pulis next the clueless beaut.

Rant over?

That's what people are alarmed about: the plan was to thwart a team like West Brom.
Liverpool with apparently the most potent attack ever ( lol ) couldn’t break West Bromwich Albion down, but DCL up alone was supposed to?

If we get hammered consistently by awful teams (eg. Southampton) there’s fume.

If we go on a seven game unbeaten run there’s fume.

No one has any patience or pragmatism any more.

I want a progressive manager who will get us playing half decent football and doing ok in Europe.

Prem survival club my arse. We should be school of science but we are more like school of borstal under the fat fraud.

In the last 11 seasons we've finished top six 5 times; seventh 3 times; and the other three season we finished 8th and 11th twice.

Not exactly "PL survival club" really are we?

Why lower the bar?
