My generation voted to be in a community with reference to trade.
NOT in a community where our own legal decisions are overturned; NOT when a company in the UK is in difficulties, and our Government has to seek permission of the Bureaucrats in Brussels to help them; not when our fishing industry is being continually shafted by the EU; NOT being told what we can and cannot do.
My generation has long memories, and I believe there will be a massive 'NO' vote from them. The danger for the 'IN' vote is 1) that the views of the older generation will filter down to the younger generation, and they will in turn vote 'NO', or 2) given that the younger generation are seen as being apathetic to voting, this area where the 'IN' vote are hanging their hat on getting the votes to get them over the line, may simply not turn out on the day.
Whatever happens, the forthcoming weeks, and the result, will be fascinating. A 'NO' vote will likely bring down a Prime Minister...
