Well go and post on it “Middle Earth” forum and have a little bitch party about how you lot think you’re bigger than us and how you’ll be playing CL footy in 5 years. Bottom line is a consortium has come in, shined a little light on your bleak city and got you all excited about the thought of seeing Messi gracing the Premier Inn.

You’re on Everton forum lad, nobody gives a rats arse why Wolves ended up in division 4.

I just hope Nuno has more balls than Steve Bull and wants to try his hand at the big time again, rather than rotting away at some no mark club.

There's always someone bigger out there. Lets show a little dignity shall we? I'm sure we'd hate a fan of a 'bigger' club speaking to us in that way.

TBH, if I went on Man Utd's forum suggesting we're as big as they are, I would expect the same treatment. And at least we're in the same league as them and have finished above/around them in recent seasons!

When it's you and your club, of course you think they're a big deal. That's what being a fan is about, a sense of the irrational :) None of us are here for the glory are we?

Bit daft all this we are bigger than you stuff, to every fan around the country there team is the biggest to them so it doesn't matter what others think.
Wolves are a decent club , got a manager and team doing OK at the moment, and have good a new board in place that can back them in the future, although like us the fair play rules will stop them going for it man city style.
I would sooner have them top dogs in the midlands any day of the week than villa .
Hope they keep there manager , gets on my nerves this when so called bigger clubs think they can just come in and take manager s and players just because they are perceived as being higher up the food chain at the moment.
Anyway back to the manager I don't think we are really after him and if we were can't see him coming to the mess we are in at the moment when he has them playing well, good backing from the board and fans, why risk it all?

Tbh, i dont mind the banter, i dont take things too personally, I just dont like being the one pulled up for giving it back and thats all i've done really.

You wouldnt find many Wolves fans genuinely saying we are a bigger, more successful club that Everton at this moment in time, but times change. Like i mentioned before, you were ahead of the likes of Chelsea, Citeh and Spurs, yet they have all surpassed you. At this moment in time, you are behind Burnley, Brighton, Watford and Huddersfield. Doesnt matter that you have in the past won more trophies than them, or that you are a bigger club, you are playing catch up against those smaller clubs some on here would describe as no marks.

What the future holds we will have to wait and see, but i'm pretty confident with Fosun we are seriously going places. Once we get promotion, i think we are going to shock quite a few people with our progression.

That’s the nature of football fans, pundits and humans mate.

It is, but when you have been through what we did, you maybe become more aware of it and are more sympathetic towards teams who collapse by having poor owners. We were lucky to come back from it in all honesty.

Wolves fan in peace here, who've followed the debate with interest.
Personally I think we've an awful long way to go to surpass or equal your current status even with you being in a current crisis.
The potentiel to do great things at Wolves are certainly there and early signs are promising , but until fulfilled, the potential remains only that - potential.
As for Nuno, I think he'd be a great appointment for you guys and the football he wants to play fits the ethos of Everton.
Having said that, I sure hope and thinks he stays with us.
Will be interesting to see who you appoint though. For the time being I just hope DU does well, in order to stick two fingers up Bartons..
Goid luck for the season. Certainly hope you turn things around. You're massive club and I certainly don't want to see you go down.

I don't think its really a great idea poaching a manager from another club in the middle of the season. What if he has success, what will stop said manager from leaving us the same way.

On the other hand, success? with this roster?

FFP could be an issue, but if we can tap into the chinese market we could find some very effective work arounds. There is huge potential there. We hosted a group of Chinese under nines at our academy a few weeks ago, and the 5 a side game was live streamed back to china to half a million viewers, which is crazy when you think about it.

we lost asia when we lost Chang.

Wolves fan in peace.

Just wanted to give a clearer view on the man himself and your take on things.

Mendes: just because Nuno is a client of his, it’s wrong to think he would in anyway be part of your club.

Mendes has a right as his agent to pass on any offers of intent.

But let’s get one thing right. Mendes is part of Wolves takeover. Our owners FOSUN own part of gestifute his agency. He would in know way offer Nuno to you or upset his employers.

It’s everton who have made the contact THROUgh Mendes.

Nuno himself: read a few comments where apparently he isn’t good enough for you.

Find it staggering.

He left Porto (not fired from Porto’s owner himself) to take up the Wolves ‘project’.

Wolves had to wait a year however to sign him as Julien Lopetegui The now Spain national manager had agreed to take the Wolves job but due to the delay in the take over he had no choice to accept his country.

His record speaks for itself in reality.

In his first managerial job he took Rio Ave to both the Portuguese and league cup finals as well as the Europea league for the first time in their history.

He then left to go to Valencia.

He took them back into the champions league in his first season.

He then resigned from Valencia to take up Portos managerial offer. Despite not winning any trophy in his season there he took them into the champions league quarter finals and finish 2nd in the league.

He then joined Wolves and is giving us the best football many have seen for decades.

His aura and calmness, his refusal to blame, his tactical awareness and his people skills are unrivalled in any manager I see week in week out. He is a star in the making, with Wolves or without Wolves. He will become one of if not the best. That’s why we want him to stay, that’s why we are so relaxed week in week out as fans. He is a stable manager that speaks the truth and knows his own faults. His work ethic and his involvement with the fans and players is something that can only be admired. He is different gravy to anyone. He may not have the reputation of pep, or mourinho, but in my eyes he has the potential to become better than them.

On Fosun: Fosun are the largest privately owned investment company in China.

Their holdings equate to over £53 billion.

Their annual profits are circa £1.3 billion pounds.

They have £11 billion pounds cash and their chairman Gua Guangchang has a personal wealth of $9.8 billion.

The make up of the company has multiple billionaire directors and owners.

In terms of wealth they are only outdone by that of Manchester City in England and one of the wealthiest in Europe. Their rival is Wanda who as football fans will know are owners of Atletico Madrid.

Their aim is Champions League football within 3-5 years.

With Mendes connections which have already allowed us to snap up the likes of Jota, Neves, Costa and co building a solid foundation of long term players of a certain age you can see them doing it.

They have recently put forward that they are revisiting plans for the redevelopment of Molineux which previously has permission for 40,000 capacity. It seems they want to go bigger and better and introduce a safe standing south bank. They have improved relationship with the fans no end. From rounds on away days in the pub, free tickets to supporters. Free coach travel, they’ve introduced fan zones, opened the stadium up for training sessions,m and their transparent. They will tell us exactly what’s going on. as a company and ownership they have made Wolves the best I’ve known it since I became a fan.

It’s remarkable how good they are and how much they’ve done in such a short space of time.

Summary: I wouldn’t underestimate wolves or Nuno. He is arguably too good for us and too good for you.

Luckily he has been sold a project and he wants to achieve it.

You may be big club, but Fosuns aim is for Wolves to be bigger. With their wealth and connections do I think it’s possible?

Absolutely
See Rangers, Queens Park.

Good day Sir.
