When you have a group, albeit a small one shouting "the whole towns full of pakis", does take a bit of shine off your very good comment.

The point I was making is that over the last few years being an Evertonian, has become that, being an Evertonian, irrespective of the colour of the skin.

Everton is NOT a racist club, it just has a very small (miniscule) racist fans - not unlike any other team in fact.

Going to Liverpool is great because nobody gives a damn about my colour, therefore I was amused that it should happen, given the fact I had not even given it a second thought.

Many years ago when I was a youngster in the gwladys st end.there was one black guy always there stood on his own never spoke to any one and no one spoke to him ,at derby games he always used to burn a red scarf and was roundly cheered any how we where playing at Man utd and I made the mistake of going to the toilet at the railway station, when I finished my bit of nature calling I turned to go out but was confronted by four mancs and I knew if I called out my mates would not hear so resigned myself to a kicking suddenly this guy comes charging in and started laying in to the Mancs so between us we saw them off I of course thanked him as with out any doubt he had saved me and invited him for a drink and he said what about your mates and I assured him we might have faults but racist we weren't how ever when we got to the pub one guy did say to me why did I invite him and I was surprised and I have to say disapointed. but on a positive side the guy from then on used to stand by us every week and come back to the pub.but he later told me about fellow blues telling him to go and support R/S and that was why he stood alone
 

We have a young following of scumbags at everton. you mostly see it at away games. they get in their little gang and think their the bollocks, they sing racist songs (i believe they was singing sick songs about the black lad who was killed in huyton when the train passed through),spit on stewards (Which ive witnessed) and play up where ever they go. put one of these little shitbags in a one on one and their arse would fall out the back of their keks!.
im not into football hooliganism (from what ive seen its just alot of men running around shouting). but i would love these little pricks to get a good hiding.
 
I dont think there is any thing worse than standing there cringing with embarrisment at the foul abusive chants coming from your own fans Preston game springs to mind for me

They are in every club Roy and yes we've had our fair share and unfortunately these brain dead morons persist to this day.:@
 

There used to be quite a few of these little pricks on Bluekipper a couple of years ago. I ended up in row with some of them, and the comments they made about people from Pakistan (they assumed everyone with asian ancestors were from Pakistan) were appalling. Funnily, or not to be truthful, the little shits remained active members even though the mods were aware of the posts, none of which were deleted. I didn't bother with Kipper after that. Presumably it has improved, though.

In summer 2008 I spent 6 weeks staying in New York and used to wear my Everton shirt to go and have a kickabout on the astro-turfs in China Town. There were usually plenty of lads there from all over up for a game. I was staying in a hostel up in Harlem at the time with me bro and we only had one key to get in between us. So one day I got back to the hostel without him and was sat on the stoop outside for a while in me kit when a young black guy came up the street with his girlfriend on his arm.

'Hey man, that a Chelsea shirt?'

'Na mate, Everton.'

'That's cool brother, I'm a Leicester City fan, Foxes for life.'

Was a surreal moment.
