What a game at Aldershot! Pre game Halifax 7th and in the play off places. Aldershot 19th and despite improving form still struggling near the bottom.
56 mins, Halifax, in cruise control, go 2 up.
Goals for Aldershot in the 60th, 62nd and 65th minutes changed all that. A stoppage time free for all near the dug outs which made the recent Chelsea v WHU shenanigans look like a playground squabble capped a splendid afternoon.

The rain, it raineth every day
Been a nightmare for postponements recently for us (Leatherhead). I was actually going to go to this same game but I went to watch league leaders Cobham batter Eversley & California (?!) 6-1 instead. Then went to watch Walton & Hersham yesterday. Home game vs K’s scheduled for Tuesday night but wouldn’t bet on that being on given the weather forecast.

Kingstonian and Binfield played their home matches at Ashford (Middx) on the 3g. 2.30pm & 6.30 KO respectively yesterday.Been a nightmare for postponements recently for us (Leatherhead). I was actually going to go to this same game but I went to watch league leaders Cobham batter Eversley & California (?!) 6-1 instead. Then went to watch Walton & Hersham yesterday. Home game vs K’s scheduled for Tuesday night but wouldn’t bet on that being on given the weather forecast.
Raynes Park Vale will try and have a couple of games at Carshalton. The weather is wreaking havoc.
Those were also on the possible list for yesterday, but I’ve been there before and seen those teams quite often, so thought I’d tick Walton off the list.

Bognor Regis v Southall today. Very nice facility at Bognor with a new 3g pitch.
0-0 ht and Southall missed a penalty, the keeper making a double save.

5 of the best for Marine, 5 goalscorers including a goal directly from a corner from Joe Ashton, on loan from Burnley.
Shame really, Leamington are a great club, its my favourite away, but you can see why theyre bottom.
Comfortable really, Marine could have won by a lot more.
Tuesday off, before Oxford City Away, and Kidderminster Away bsck to back.
Up to 10th, 3pts off the playoffs, 2 games in hand all to play for!

I`ve been to watch Leamington, can`t remember who they played, but a gang of us stayed over and watched a night game for something to do, before going to the races at Stratford the day after.
Nice little ground, but Leamington town centre is a bit of a strange place, not a lot going on and zero pubs - we ended up drinking back in the hotel bar, as it was preferable to the terrible bars in the centre.

I’d persuaded 3/4 of the EFC away gang to go to Cables but when it was called off we joined you. Whoever knew that attacking football and decent pressing when you’re playing at home results in goals

Just enjoyable to watch at the moment; crowd mostly invested, play great football (even against the better sides).
