Barton, at 28, at a proper football club and under Moyes, could potentially be an absolute quality player. He has always had the ability, he dominated our midfield at Goodison.

Plus he's a blue. I'd always be willing to give an Evertonian a shot to make it with us.

Very much this, hes a quality footballer, he would be absolutley sublime for us. We lack someone of his battleing quality against the likes of Wolves, Blackburn, hes a well rounded footballer and dont let the hard tag fool you hes has a lot of quality, someof his distibution yesterday was awsome.
