But you took your suspension like a man, well done and welcome back:lol:

Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it? We all think he'd a snidey little [Poor language removed] now but back then we (me included) thought he would have been good for us.

Sidenote, Chico's moving of Arteta to the centre was a great call, Moyes out!!!
No classy winger yet though

Has anyone thought of moving Arteta into the middle and signing a classy winger.

I'm tactically miles ahead of most of you, it's like the early nineties on here and I'm Ajax or something.

Kevin Nolan is being mentioned now in the ever turning rumour mill.

Personally, this guy would not be as luxurious as Fernandes, but he would certainly benefit the team in a more complete way then what Fernandes probably would.

Plus it would be another English player, which I find admirable in the manager.

I still think we need a quality Left sided midfielder so Arteta can move to the right where he belongs. As far as I can tell unless we can coax Sheedy out of retirement the only cap that fits is that from Morten Gamst Pedersen.

And you're England.

urgh. Bumping threads like this never does anyone any favours. Football opinion changes so quickly that 3 years is a lifetime.

Still. Get Nolan in.

Still lol'ing over Morten Gamst Pederson....I mean seriously!

Yep, that shows how much Ghost knows about soccer. Plus reckoning Barca wouldn't drop a point for the rest of the season, the week before they got bummed at home by Hercules (actually, phwaor).

puts the Ghostbaitatron 2000XL into sleep mode*

I still think he would have done great for us. Him and Cahill in the same midfield, the opposition would be shitting themselves. His game yesterday only highlights his pros.

He is crap.
He hates Everton.
Before signing for the Toon, i use to see him in the bars on Allerton road/penny lane, he use to celebrate when teams scored past us and celebrate when Liverpool scored.
