Nolan?

I actually think Appiah could be the touch of class we need. Nolan is a strange one- what can he offer the team that we dont alreay have? Hes pretty strong in the tackle and can score a goal or two but we have players like that in Jags and Cahill.

Appiah is skillful, strong in the tackle and can find the back of the net. Riquleme would be a good signing although from what Ive read of him his attitude stinks and could be a very disruptive influence on the dressing room.

totally agree. Ive been saying for a while that appiah would be the perfect fit for us and his style would suit the english game. Isn't he in Turkey.

Would probably jump at the chance to do one from there and play in the prem.

appiah, yakubu and MGP.

Do not think Appiah would be signed, not on Moyes radar and never in the rumour mill linked with us but Nolan has and previously.
 

nolan is only 25, i thought he was older, 6 foot tall, knows how to pass.

wouldnt wax manny sized money on him.

would prefer MGP because

is a very strong eleven, and i believe within our grasp.
 
Can i be honest lads, and its not that im not hoping to sign someone before the end of the window, but id prefer it if we kept our powder dry and wait untill the right player is available rather than snatching at straws.

Im not saying i dont rate Nolan but if the first choice was Gonzaliz, second Manny, and third Nolan.

Id be pprepared to wait untill January or next summer when the market is fresher and we can go after our first choice target. Especially if were talking about 12 mill available. Can you see botlon or whoever settleing for any less then 8 mill if they think we have 12.

Mannys defection may be a great oppurtunity for piernar and with Cahill still to come into the team i would be happy even if we got Vogel for 5000,00 as cover for Cars.

A cheeky bid for Micheal Kightley would tickle my fancy though.
 
nolan would be a great signing and at 5 million thats a good price
prob a better signing for the team than manny

I agree with that although it would have to be at the right price(y)

Thanks to a certain someone all of football knows we are up a creek without a paddle..........every player we go for will carry a hidden premium until the end of this week:angry: .
