Gueye is the only DM we need. It would be different if we had a Seri playing alongside him, but we don't. Schneiderlin hasn't been good enough to justify playing two deep. If anything, he hampers the other midfielder and causes organization problems.

I’d look to move him on in this window, no point persisting with someone who won’t track back and has no end product.

Thought he did well last night when we attacked. He wanted the ball and had time to control and find a blue shirt. He doesn’t track back well enough but as others have said he isn’t a winger.

Good player. Got to get the idea of defensive duties out of your heads and use him for what he is decent at. Give this lad time and he will be a favourite. Got more in his locker than most. Leave the defending to the ones that cannot attack and whose job it is to defend and cover

I think he’d be fine playing from right, but with licence to come inside, once Coleman is back, as Coleman would provide the width. Thought it worked well with Barkley last year.

Maybe Sam isn't as hopeless as I thought. Agreed that he needs to play centrally. It's sad that our most composed player on the ball is a 20 year old from the Croatian league.
