We should take 8 million if we can get it, depending on how much we've paid Rangers so far it could be double what we paid for him. 8 million would be a decent amount to put towards a new striker.
It's a blip, a bad season.
He will be back.
Blips don't last this long. We've been waiting for him to get better for over 6 months, and he's got worse. It isn't just the lack of goals, every time he gets the ball he looks like he's going to lose it.
So, you think he has just become awful over a few months ? Forgotten how to score ?
I don't. I can see how badly he is playing, don't get me wrong. But, he was superb just a few months ago.
Okay this season hasnt being his best but it doesnt warrant selling him for 3 million profit . Let him get this season over with and have a full pre season and if he doesnt come good by january then sell him . I we get rid and turns out good again we will be shooting ourselfes . We have money to spend so lets see with an improved team if he can get back on track

This is like what everyone said about West Ham trying to sign Yakubu for 8 million, we ended up getting a small fraction of that later on.
If we could buy a striker in this window then there isnt much risk about keeping him . If we could get the striker from fc copenhagan i think he would be a good option . Negredo i think is to expensive . On the yak he did improve when he went to blackburn . We need to keep faith in players

Yak improved, cos he was just told to score. Nothing else. Just score goals.
Sounds like a plan !
