I've asked him multiple times if he supports Trump's policy of forced child-separations from their parents, and he has been too cowardly to respond. I never understood this: If you have a strong view that you believe in, then just own it and defend it! But apparently he only likes to argue on twitter where he controls the delete and block buttons.
Got isn’t really the platform to discuss him to be fair to the other mods but I will say this.... you could never argue a point or discuss a differing viewpoint with him on here for long before you either banned by him or threatened to be banned. Without that he is just a bigoted old man.

I certainly don't want to discuss him here on GOT. I want to discuss with him his views on Trump's forced child-separation. I had tagged him at least 4x, but he never bothered to respond. I can't imagine why...

So there is this horrible company. And I don't agree with them. So I'm going to take all the products that I have purchased from them--and by "purchased" I mean that I already gave them my money in exchange for their products, so they already have my own money, and now my own money is not mine, it is theirs, and it is in their bank accounts--and I'm gonna destroy those products that I purchased from them.

I am a friend of capitalism and logic.

Completely rational, logical approach to life.

Burning things I paid money for to own the libs.

Oh yeah, Bill. The guy who locked threads, then took the opportunity to leave the last post on the thread calling people names (swear words in fact) and then wanting to ban people who took issue with it.

He er... he hasn't been missed.

As for Kaepernick, I don't get the fuss but it's very much an American thing. They are extreme nationalists by nature - everyone standing for the national anthem before a game at Goodison Park would be just about the weirdest thing ever.

So I won't comment on the extreme reactions, other than to say it is enlightening that people aren't just disagreeing with Kaepernick on social media; there's been an immediate, visceral racist reaction to him.

Which, of course, validates his position.

Apparently black people are NOT getting shot by police all the time, interesting.

About two every three days nationwide it seems.

The US is roughly 60% white 15% blacks, 25% everyone else
2015 data had right at 16,000 murders in the US. 52% of which were black (89% by blacks), 43% white (81% by whites). Most people are murdered by someone they know, so that does make some sense on the high percentages.
So that's what, about 7000 backs killed by blacks, and a little less that 6000 whites killed by whites.
259 blacks were killed by police, 497 whites . That's justified, unjustified/criminal - total killed, not necessarily murdered.
2016-2017 stats are similar, but not as complete.

Way too many murders, period. Hell Chicago alone had 750 last year. I have no idea how many unjustified killings happen at the hands of police, and how many of those are blacks. But any is too many when law enforcement's job is to protect and serve. But it's not like blacks are being straight out murdered daily by police, as some would have you believe. However, about 20 per day are being murdered, not simply killed, but murdered in some form or fashion. At 15% of the population

I don't care what Kaepernick protests, it's a free country. I'd prefer he'd not used the method he has but hey, it's not my protest or my place to tell him how to protest. Ditto Nike, they support who and what causes they want. I'm not boycotting the NFL, I prefer college football and EPL anyway. I'm not boycotting Nike, because frankly the brand of apparel is less important to me than the price, look fit etc.

So I guess my question is, if Kaepernick and Nike can have their viewpoint, and they absolutely can, why do I have to cheer for them or risk being labeled as racist/extremist/alt-right etc? Just because I don't find them heroes doesn't mean I advocate police brutality, and would ever have anything to do with morons that march with white robes and/or espouse hate.
