Wow. But, sadly, barely even surprised anymore by racist Trump-supporting idiots.
Offy up the hill (come out of the Tap and look at 2pm.. left hand of fork) has some of the Tap's stuff on sale for a bit less. I also tried the Peanut Butter beer which was different. I'm not big into drinking (and the diet gets in the way) but I don't mind the odd, different thing. Apparently I'm slated to do a Railway Pub Crawl from Yorkshire back to here with a fellow Blue. (something about an open ticket that lets you get off at every Watering Hole).Ah ok - just knew the guy who’s still in Oxton wasn’t operating Moose anymore.
Can’t say I ever ate at the Oxton one, but the Dale Street one is consistently excellent.
I’m a fan of craft beer so when I was living in Oxton until recently, I enjoyed having the bottle shop in the village. Great range in there (and most were more like £3.50 I think - a handful at the really high % VOL were up at the £6-7 range. Tried a 14% Rocky Road flavour IPA that was at that price. It was phenomena mind you). Didn’t go into the bar though.
