R4 is the proud owner, if thats the word, of one the finest radio bloopers, ever.

Some dead serious piece about fishing rights or something, all very R4 like, until the poor female presenter and the studio just fell to pieces whan she said, roughly, "And we will be speaking to the leader of the UK fishing delegation, Jack [Poor language removed], later"

Serves you right...... was the word C.H.I.C.O...........

Daughter went in today, back home half day as couldnt do anything, said lots are back on, but anything new no access as the tech guys were up the wall.

They've sorted most other places out so just a matter of time......

Get real, this hack affected 150 countries across the globe. What is has got to do Hunt I've no idea.

Well he's the health secretary so he's responsible for the NHS, 2 years ago he was warned that the the security software needed upgrading at a cost of £5.5m, he didn't do it, never mind any other country, it was the NHS that got hit here because they never had that security upgrade, he is responsible and took until today to come out and say anything about it

He's a snivelling little tory rat, so you sir need to 'get real'

What about Scotland NHS then. This was a worldwide attack and to even attempt to pin it on one politician says more about you than it does about him........

OK, never mind any other organisation, the one thing he's responsible for and is warned by Microsoft he needs to upgrade on gets hit, how is it not his fault

I'm sure if he'd took the professional advice and funded the upgrade, then he and the government would of been all over it saying how great they are because they protected the NHS by upgrading it's software when NHS Scotland didn't, if he's not responsible then what is the point in him, and what is the point of a health secretary

Why do Health boards employ CEO's and COO's are they not responsible for anything. You can bet your bottom dollar that the lad in charge of Nissan will be getting his ear bent....this is a poor subject to attack any politician when 99 countries were involved......

I'm sure there will be a few arses getting booted in board rooms around the world for not doing their job, and yes if there is other people high up the NHS who knew the danger and didn't flag it up should get booted too but all's they can do is refer it to the health secretary, my point is thoe, if he's the man who signs off these contracts to pay Microsoft to keep the software upto date, which it sounds like he is, then his job should be on the line also

NHS England is a hands-off body and it was designed thus to avoid political meddling in day-to-day operations. Simon Stevens runs it, not Hunt.
