NFL 2025 Season

9-0 on the road - beating the Bills, Broncos, and Ravens
Beaten three playoff teams that had top-five total defenses this season

Pats have won ugly, but can't deny they've won games. Maye has been brilliant to this point. He is affected by the weather - put a glove on FFS - but the defence is brilliant and will ruin teams. Lot of that is getting overlooked because 'played bad teams' or 'bad quarterbacks'. To not give credit to the defence is really poor from a lot of the media, pundits, etc. The Chargers are not bad, and they were made to look awful.

Yesterday was all about the weather, and if you don't plan for that, that's simply poor coaching and preparation. The Pats did, and shock horror, they're going back to The Big Game

Seahawks will probably beat them, but the Pats have answered every question about them so far

And yes I'm going to be very obnoxious if they spring an upset
Surprised none has started to claim NE cheated by camouflaging themselves using the all white uniforms in a blizzard, although Kurt Warner sailed pretty close with his comments straight from the big, bad, book of Kopite related weather excuses.

I'm glad that we're hearing weather based excuses again. Dome football is boring, and I'm glad the Pats will never give into that

Interesting fact for you all, Sam Darnold is the first current or former NY Jets QB to play in Super Bowl since Joe Namath in 1968. Let’s hope he doesn’t get vapour lock.
Think Darnold is the first to appear in a Super Bowl after playing for the Jests.

Rodgers, Favre, Flacco and Boomer Esiason all appeared in Super Bowls and eventually went to NY.

Be amazed if the Seahawks dont win the Superbowl at a canter.

At the risk of being accused of throwing too much shade at the Pats - they're the most average Superbowl side I've seen in years.

I certainly think the Pats can win. Maye is a lot better than what we have seen and their defence might well be better than we thought. But now that Darnold has given us irrefutable proof he can perform in a big spot, and looking at the rest of their roster, I think and hope the Seahawks win it.

As a Jets fan, It's frustrating to see Sam Darnold in the SB, the jets are the laughing stock of the league written off after 2 years in NY and 5 years later starting as favorite in the super bowl... Well done lad win it and get MVP it might just show the Jets owners that patients is required at QB position just when they are moving on from their latest 1 year QB experement.

Darnold doesn’t become this player if he stays with the Jets. Frankly I don’t think any one team could have developed him. He needed to move around, have spells as a backup, and have multiple teams try to push the limits of where he could get to. And make no mistake Seattle (and Minnesota) are right on that limit. He led the league in turnovers and without that defense that would have been fatal. But because the have that defense it’s ok to play a bit more high risk, high reward.
