Fell asleep with the Eagles up 16-10. They’ve had some awful 2nd halves this year. Gutted really, one of my best mates is an Eagles fan, we wish every year for a Buffalo v Philly SB.

Looks that way, although they will still need to agree a contract. It's probably not that big a surprise but I'm not that sure it's sensible to bring back a coach who will be immediately on the hot seat from week 1.

I don't think he'll be back without the new contract in place as the boss guy previously stated, so wouldn't think he'll be on the hot seat next season.
I'm hoping he goes, the chances are much higher they will appoint someone worse than better.

He still will be. Signing an extension keeps him from being a FA at the end of the year. It doesn’t stop him from getting fired. They’ll just have to pay him out, which they’ll do if they feel they have to.

He's on the hot seat whether he signs an extension or not. The pressure from the fans and local media will be enormous. He's lost twice as many play off games as he's won and is going into year 8.

I think he's an incredibly good offensive coach but a terrible situational coach. Just look at the yearly chaos on special teams. I'm not sure he can win enough big games to win a championship.

It won’t be just one year. He wouldn’t sign that. He’s under contract for 2026 and my guess is he’d only extend if it was two years at least and taking him to 2028.
