Sure but who are you going to get right now that brings that level of offensive coaching to the table?

I don’t love him in game either. The special teams stuff is wild but is that also him? Is he the one who keeps thinking McManus is a good idea or does the FO take more responsibility there?

I just think there are more questions than answers. I’d want to see what one more year of his offense hopefully with Parsons and better health generally looks like.

They had another kicker in the building who was clearly better, and had literally kicked the longest FG is team history.

But the team kept going back to McManus. I have no explanation. Other than I have no idea how Bissachia kept his job on special teams this long. Almost every week something terrible happenned.

I would potentially promote Hafley to HC and try to bring in a Mike McDaniel on offence.

I actually forgot to even mention the worst coaching mistake from last night, and that was Lafleur burning all his timeouts and the final drive turning into a mess. Inexplicable clock management from an experienced head coach.

The biggest point for me is this: can the next coach get Love to play as well? I like Love. I also don’t think Love is so good that any coach is going to work. If you do bring Harbaugh in the OC becomes everything. Monken is ok, that might work fine. But if he does another Trestman or Morningwheig you guys are done.

And that’s also true on defense. With LaFleur you know that the offense will play well. That’s about the most important thing you can say about a team.

I think he is too. I also don’t think he’s scheme agnostic. If John Harbaugh comes in and brings some kind of Greg Roman type lackey with him good luck.

In every game he goes through stretches where he looks the best QB in the league and in the same game will have 20 min runs where it looks like he should be back in college.
