LOL

This page has made my head spin

KOC is a McVay disciple, who is a Shanahan disciple. So that in and of itself gives him leeway if he performs

He's taken a nothing team and they've been very good under his watch. 14-3 was ridiculous this year. With nothing but failure Sam Darnold as his QB, who he turned into Dan Marino this year.

OK so he had a bad game vs a geeked up Rams team, and one that under the radar has been very good the second half of the season, especially defensively

The Vikings should lock this guy up for 10 years

As for Tomlin, he is what he is - a guy that brings stability. Gets his players to play hard week in week out. NEVER going to outscheme someone. He would make the Jets borderline respectable, but he's never going to take a good team and make them great
He has ballsed up the 3 biggest games of his career to date, and been embarassed in all 3.

Games he probably shouldn't even have been in considering the teams at his disposal. It's not the Premier League Kev, success takes time and absolutely nobody thinks KOC is under the microscope
His record is not much better than Zimmers at this stage of his career.

And Zimmer outstayed his welcome by several years.

I do agree he’s not getting fired though.

Buddy do you really not have anything beyond looking at records?
All I am saying is we have seen this kind of performance before with Zimmer. One good regular season with playoff failure, with the likes of Teddy Bridgewater and Case Keenum no less, followed by one down season. Rinse and repeat.

I’m sorry the Case Keenum season is considered a playoff failure?

Christ.

why was Zimmer fired then? I thought everyone hated him?
Not because of an undrafted QB popping up out of nowhere and giving the franchise its best ever moment 😂

He was fired because he managed a football team like it was 1958 and was incredibly abrasive. He hadn’t spoken to the GM in something like 12 months and he literally walked out of the last draft and went home when they drafted Kellen Mond. He only started having weekly meetings with Cousins in his last year and had a weird hate of all things offense.

His one redeeming feature was his defence which had eroded. He’s a super weird dude but he’s had a lot of turmoil in his life so it’s understandable and probably needed a break from football. He also had a QB he never wanted dropped on him and then inexplicably retained which I do kind of get.

I’d urge anybody interested in the NFL to have a read of his most recent interview with Mark Craig, it’s genuinely like something out of a film
