Kelce has replaced Hill as the #1 target.
JSS has replaced Kelce as the #2 target.

You posted the stats that backed this up yourself. Why are you now asking for an explanation of your own points?

Your front office went out and got the best FA WR2 they could afford (JSS). Eminently sensible approach when Hardman is your #3 guy (as was the case in 2021) and your #1 guy leaves (Hill).

If Mahomes could "make viable targets out of average players" why not do that with Hardman? Why instead go and spend in FA on JSS and MVS?

Bored now. Take your Mahomes fangirling elsewhere.

See, you're just being silly now. Becoming the most productive receiver on a roster doesn't mean you change into the person who USED to be the most productive receiver.

The explanation has been laid out in clear, simple terms but it doesn't suit your narrative so you retreat into absurdity. All the more foolish considering your own stats prove the point.

It's a different game now Kev, the stats can say a lot about Mahomes and how he fits into today's game. But in the context of his time, Montana is undoubtedly a better quarterback in his era than Mahomes currently is in his own.

Mahomes does have the benefit of time, it's still relatively early in his career and he certainly has all the tools. But for him to have the same impact on American Football as Montana will take some doing and for Mahomes to maintain this level for a long time, which is hard for any player let alone one who has set a personal standard like Mahomes. But currently, there is no doubt about who is the best player is between them
