A woman's lawsuit alleges that Matt Araiza, now with the Buffalo Bills, and two San Diego State football players raped her when she was 17.

Just seen it. Reported at the time. His story seems proper shady. He confessed to having slept with her and then later said he can’t remember anything. She was 17 as well so even if it’s not rape in the broader sense then surely it’s statutory rape and will still face some criminal charges.

Don’t think the league can do anything as it happened before he was an NFL player. However, the club need to make a stand. But will they? Surely Beane and McDermott knew of this before the draft?? If they didn’t, then it’s bad due diligence. If they did, then what the hell where they playing at??

As an aside and absolutely trivial in the grander scheme of things: we can’t even go and pick Haack back up as he signed with the Colts.

yeh its a completely ridiculous accusation, he was a 6th round rookie punter, she wasnt exactly gonna hit the jackpot anyway if it was money she was after.

2 days to go and it’ll be the Bills first NFL opener since the kick off game was introduced in 2002. Nothing better than a test of their Super Bowl credentials than taking on the current champions.
