surely that means its a quality team that gets to the super bowl from the afc though.

I get that the Bills could be seen as better than the Chiefs, but who else in the AFC is going to push either of them? The Chargers? The Broncos? You cant seriously say they are on the level of the Chiefs or the Bills. Mainly down to coaching in terms of the Chiefs.
It's very weird that the Chiefs seem to be given the complete benefit of the doubt that downgrading from one of the 5 or so best receivers to very average replacements won't matter.

maybe you want to look at their track record, before making statements like that. one or 2 players, apart from maybe qb, isnt the be all and end all in the NFL, unlike in say basketball.

I know but taking an all pro talent and not replacing him makes the team worse. I think that's hard to argue.

If the Bills don’t win it this year and I don’t think they ever will.

We’ve signed Araiza the punt god and now have a running game.

Only small concern is that we’ve lost Dabbol to the Giants with Ken Dorsey stepping up.

It comes down to consistency in the regular season for the Bills. They struggled with that last season and ended up having to play in Arrowhead where I think they win if its in Buffalo.

At least you've admitted it's not scripted now. What a meltdown that was
Masterclass in halftime defensive adjustments, that was. Bengals put the headlights on full beam and pointed them directly at Mahomes... And he froze. Like a baby deer.

That coverage sack where he held the ball for about fifteen seconds before Hubbard walked straight down the middle and put him out of his misery... Delicious.

It was the lesser teams where we faltered really. Jaguars and Pats off the top of my head. Win either of them and the playoff game is at the Ralph. The only really blowout loss was at home to the Colts.

However, I honestly believe if they got through the 13 secs of madness against the Chiefs, we’d have gone all the way last year.

It's a wide receiver, the most overrated position in football

It gets all the limelight, but if you have a great QB and great scheme, that's more important to a team's success, at least in the regular season. In a one off game, you want studs everywhere, but big picture any great QB and great offensive coach can make anyone look good at receiver - you can scheme them open. The Patriots never had good a great receiver there except for Randy Moss' one great year there. Tom Brady made nobodies look good.

I'm overstating this i'm sure, but as long as they replace some of Hill's traits (quickness, straight up speed) they can manage just fine

if that was it in isolation then maybe. Hill caught over 100 passes last season, its a simple fact that the ball will be spread around more this season. Kelce is still there obviously, and firing. And with Reid, he gets the best out of what he has. Most teams have average/poor coaches so the personnel becomes even more of an issue for them.

I always remember the first season Reid joined the Chiefs, we had gone 2-14 the prior season - the next year we started 9-0 with Captain Checkdown Alex Smith.
