NFL 2022 Season

The team that comes through the AFC will have a far tougher route there during the regular season and play offs. It will be easier to get to a superbowl as an NFC team.

I see Chiefs are maybe 2nd or 3rd best AFC team. On paper, Bills are the best team in the NFL, but doesn't mean they will win either.

Packers and Rams look best NFC teams but a lot depends on the Packers receivers. There's been a mixed bag so far from them and they are mostly very inexperienced.
surely that means its a quality team that gets to the super bowl from the afc though.

I get that the Bills could be seen as better than the Chiefs, but who else in the AFC is going to push either of them? The Chargers? The Broncos? You cant seriously say they are on the level of the Chiefs or the Bills. Mainly down to coaching in terms of the Chiefs.

My man Mahomes looking absolute nails in the 2 games he has played so far. The loss of Hill will focus him.

Can't see the Chiefs being stopped, personally. Although the first part of the schedule is tough, in fact PFF rate it as the toughest schedule in the league overall.
You couldn't see KC getting stopped last year either. But Cincinnati showed the entire league how to do it: force Mahomes to decipher coverages and then just feast on his errors.

Chiefs are yesterday's men. The rest of their division made moves to improve their rosters in the off-season but KC didn't. They're in a genuine bare-knuckle brawl just to make the playoffs now.

My Bengals are under immense pressure to go back to the Superbowl, both from the media and also from the contract situations for Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, Sam Hubbard, DJ Reader, Trey Hendrickson and Jessie Bates. Half of them won't be in Cincinnati this time next year.

There's a vast array of quality in the AFC however and our division is always tough as hell. Expect the Steelers to rebound this year, and the Ravens to be strong. There will be dozens of great games in the AFC, and the playoffs will be epic.

the Bengals won on a roll of the dice, plus Mahomes having the worst second half of his career in a game that wasnt competitive until that point. The idea that the Bengals 'worked him out' doesnt stack up im afraid. It was just a terrible second half.

If you think a repeat of that half is inevtiable, I suggest you go and look at Mahomes historical record as a QB.

Then there are the home fans at Arrowhead, which make it the most intimidating place in the league to visit. Plus the best coach in the league.

If anyone is in a bare-knuckle fight to make the playoffs, its the Bengals, not the Chiefs who have won the division 6 times in a row. In fact, I doubt if you will have a winning record.

Agreed. Without the Tyreek Hill get out of jail free card, Mahomes will reveal himself to be the very good, but not great, quarterback that he is

At least you've admitted it's not scripted now. What a meltdown that was
