Not ready to just write the Bills into the Super Bowl. They looked good but I thought the Rams were woefully unprepared.

It's odd you would take umbrage, forgive me if that's overstating it, over his Bills pick when they just beat the Rams by 20 points, and honestly the offense played bad outside of Allen and the top 2 WR's.

I don't blame anyone for taking anyone's superbowl picks to task at this point, it's a ridiculous exercise I've never really understood it. All the injuries, suspensions, and things that happen during a season it's impossible to predict with any relevant accuracy imo.

Just thought the Rams have done nothing but gotten worse over the off season. Lost the starting LT, the best WR, 2nd best Dlineman. They look like a really bad team right now.

Absolutely no running game. Both corners were getting torched the whole game. No passing game, too much reliance on Cupp. It's a bad team by the end of the year in my opinion.

Now that doesn't mean the Bills will make the superbowl and takes away from the victory a bit in my eyes, but I still don't get out of that statement saying I'm not gonna put the Bills in and leave the Rams alone.

That's just a bias or hating imo. Which is fine that's the fun of it all.

I was more on about him saying the Bills versus Bengals is the "likely" afc title game. The Rams looked awful and Stafford is probably going to get worse down the season. So yeah I don't believe in them either. But that wasn't the part that caught my attention so I didn't say it.

My Bills thing is simply I'm not sold right now to the extent of having them as massive favorites. I get why there is a ton of hype but I saw a team in the Rams Thursday that just didn't have any interest in trying to figure things out. They ran on like 75% of the neutral situation first downs despite finishing with 2.9 yards per carry and on defense refused to do anything to disrupt the Bills short to medium passing. It was a disaster of a performance and while the Bills being gracious enough to handily accept it a positive for them I'm just not there yet.

Unfortunately for you and the rest of the Bills people I watched the games against the Jags and Falcons last year. Now we're talking about them like they're the 07 Pats and that isn't an exaggeration as over 50% of the "expert" picks around the internet have them winning the Super Bowl. I need to see the good Bills for a stretch first. I'll come say so if it happens.

Lol you watched 2 games last year? Congrats bud.

I'm not comfortable at all with the media hype, but pointing to the jags game and another game they won last year as if they have any relevancy or you couldn't do that to every team is just nit picking and comes across biased. Which is fine, you don't have to like the Bills. The points you make I'm not gonna agree with at all if you're gonna rely on a jags game and a falcons game last yr lol. The jags game point is almost as overplayed as them making the superbowl this year.

My point was I saw both the good and the bad. The hype is based off this ideal Bills team (which weirdly includes a game that they completely choked away) and the Bills were not that ideal team all year. If they can be the team that beat the Rams for 14 games instead of 7 (I can't be bothered to actually go through last year's schedule and count so 7 is the number) or so than the hype will have been deserved but I'm not sold that is what we'll see.

They're good, maybe great, they'll probably win their crap division and they'll have a shot at the title because of that. To say they're clearly the best team, a thing I've heard more than a few times all sorts of places, nah not for me. NFL rarely works like that.

My 2022 Seattle Seahawks might be worse than the 1992 team. For the younger crowd:

"Football Outsiders called Seattle's 1992 offense "the worst offense in (their ranking system's) history."[1] Seattle's 1,778 passing yards are the fewest in a season by any team during the 1990s.[2] Seattle was so inept that from the first game of the season until their Week 13 overtime win over Denver, they collectively had fewer points scored than punts attempted; for the entire season, the team finished with only slightly more points than punts. The team failed to score more than 17 points in a single game."

Their defense was amazing that season. Cortez Kennedy DPOY on a 2-14 team.

No chance they're that bad lol

Probably not. Setting the bar as low as I can possibly do in order to have zero expectations.

That defense in 92 was one of the best in the league. If we had an average offense I bet they would have led the league. I mean just getting a first down was reason to celebrate when we put Stan Gelbaugh in as the starting QB.
