People really don't give Ronaldo, a fanny he may be, the credit he deserves. Yet he's very talented but he has worked non-stop to improve all the areas of his game.

Hard to define 'talent'. Ronaldo clearly has the better tricks, is far faster than Messi, and is more lethal when he gets the ball. Messi is probably smarter, his lower centre of gravity allows him to jink between players and see a pass most players can't see, Very different players. Personally I prefer Ronaldo but wouldn't argue with anyone who preferred Messi.

Here I'm defining talented as natural ability (if it exists), intelligence, intuition, understanding etc. which I believe Messi has more of. Ronaldo is the superior athlete, though, and it's tough to argue he's not the best at present.
