So small time if we loan zaha

Fail to see how loaning an England international from the wealthiest sports club in the world makes us small time.

The boy is clearly capable of improving our side, would be at little financial outlay to boot, allowing us to spend more elsewhere and allowing Martinez another year to scout for the ideal permanent option...

It's small time thinking to think we're above such deals.

Don't know if anyone has said it, would anyone take Esteban Granero? He had flashes of brilliance at times but didn't he get injured or something?

If alcaraz signs then we still need a goalkeeper ( robles) a midfielder my choice would be Honda but if not him then some one who can come in for Gibson or fellani when they are out . We then need a winger either Moses or barca kid on loan

Is it just me who doesn't rate Moses? Not a bad dribbler, seems to lack end product though. Saw him quite a bit whenever he did play for chelsea, didn't impress me at all.

I was thinking the same, he's not really a striker or a winger is he? If we are talking buying him I think Tom Ince is a better prospect

No would not, plenty better out there!

Alcaraz IMO will be another squad addition, think we will still sign a replacement for heitinga if he goes (maybe lescott). Distin can't have anymore than this year as a first teamer starter week in week out.

Robles
Alcaraz
Lescott
Honda or Fer
Moses
Donovan

That would do me fine, I'd be very confident of a good season! Should be about 18M worth of talent. Heitinga and Naismith moving on for about 6M

He hardly had a run at Chelsea, but when he did I feel he was brilliant.
Judge him though on his performances for Wigan that got him to Chelsea.
He's an excellent player.
Needs to be playing though.
This loan could be perfect. Really hope it happens.

Brilliant?
Excellent?

He's decent enough but 30 goals in 192 games isn't that impressive a record for a forward. Baines record is as good over the last 4 years.

I'd be happy with him as a signing, he is young enough to improve and has potential to be really good. But he is nowhere near good enough yet to be labelled as excellent.

He was excellent for about 3 months for Wigan. Was pretty nondescript the rest of the time.

He's young and will probably improve and get more consistent, but I'd only pay 5 or so mil for him, not the 10 bandied about

Really think a creative attacking midfielder would improve us no end. Honda would be ideal, but thats probably an unrealistic dream. Since were in the business of signing average Wigan players, Jordi Gomez anyone?
