Moses - Loan with a view to buy.
Deulofeu - Loan.
Alcaraz - Free
Robles - (Reported) £600k
Kone - £5m (Already here)

Imagine that without having to sell anyone. Id be very happy, not unrealistic either. Then when the inevitable happens and Fellaini or Baines are sold, watch what Martinez does with the money, brilliant!

That would be agreat summer's work and if we sell Heitinga for a couple of million we'll have lost some big earners of the payroll so wages shouldn't be an issue.

We'd have options in midfield and attack which we haven't had before. In the centre of midfield Fellaini, Gibson, Pienaar, Osman, Barkley. As an attacking 3 Moses, Mirallas, Kone, Jelavic, Vic and Deulofeu.

Wouldn't mind another centre mid though. Possibly that young Belgian lad who is highly rated

Realistically it's going to be Alcaraz and we'll have made 2 awful signings.

Hopefully it would be Honda or another top midfielder.

Moses never seemed to have any end product to me and being African we then lose him to ACON as well as Kone/Anichebe. Not clever at all.

I'm turning into DaveK.

If you don't like the Kone signing fair enough but how can the Alcaraz signing be awful? It will be the best signing the club make financially all summer if it allows them to move Heitinga on for a fee and remove 50k a week off the wage bill.

To many people love a moan on here, I don't mind when its justified but not when the club and new manager are making a totally sensible signing like this.

your bladdered if you think Honda would reject ac milan and come to us. and apprently the next ACON is in 2015.

I read that Brazilian defender Douglas is a free agent. Wouldn't mind him. No loans please even for a talent as good as Deolofeu. Moses would do fine for us

Depends...

Cant see that he'll get a game ahead of El Shaarawy, Balotelli, Pazzini, Montolivo, Poli, Boateng, Robinho or Nocerino

If he wants to play regularly in the season before a World Cup, we're the better option

I just want Alcaraz and a good right winger. Moses would be great for that.

Mirallas off Kone, Pienaar and Moses on the wings and Felli and Gibson in the middle. It'd mean Osman on the bench, which is where he needs to be now and no more Naismith on the right. Happy days.

Obviously that would probably be how Moyes would have done it and RM probably has his own ideas, so his formation would probably be very different.

Spurs took Adebayor on loan initially, much to their own advantage.
Fact is teams like Chelsea with their stupid money have enough brilliant midfielders to fill a full 11.
Take them on loan.
Break into champs league.
Sign them permanently.

Ey?

Adebayor used his loan to suggest to Spurs that he was a very good striker, and a snip at the fee he was going for.

Normal service resumed with Ade though and as soon as he got a new contract he went sh*te again, and they'll have next to no chance of getting rid of him.

I think we'll bring in a central midfielder. We've got Fellaini, Osman, Gibson, Barkley. We lost 2 players (Nev and probably Heitinga) who could play there (I'm not saying they were good) so obviously we need to bring in someone. Alcaraz to replace Johnny might be a good and cheap option and would bring some money too.

It was because of Adebayor that Spurs finished 4th and should have gotten champions league, if not for Chelsea winning it.
I'm not arguing against your accusation that he then went **** when signed permanently.
I'm arguing that to avoid taken excellent players on loan so as not to damage pride is silly.
